I just downloaded and installed PS3 Firmware v2.40, which arguably holds the biggest updates to the PS3’s OS. The largest and most sought after update is the In-game XMB which works surprisingly well. I was expecting a few bugs, such as freezing during playing online on a packed game.

Title pretty much says it all. This morning, Firmware update 2.36 was released and includes only one update, but an impotant one anyway.
The new update allows for flawless play of some other games of the PlayStation format, such as those oldies you want to pull out such as Tekken Tag Tournament or Street Fighter [...]
