A couple of days ago, we announced that Sony would be releaseing LBP Beta Keys on 4 more sites. The Official PlayStation Blog released a bunch of them yesterday afternoon, without much notice, and they’re all gone! Just thought I’d let you know.

PS: Please don’t hate me (:|)

Sony have announced that IGN, 1Up, GameTrailers.com and the Official LBP News Site will all be giving away LittleBigPlanet Beta keys. IGN have already started their giveaway of ‘a few thousand’ keys, and all you have to do is make sure you send an e-mail over to beyond@ign.com and describe your idea for a creative, [...]

Will Sony ever surprise us with an on-time PS3 extra? Sony recently announced that Life With PlayStation is on hold, but will definitely be released as a free extra. Life With PlayStation is Sony’s answer to the Wii’s home menu… but BETTER! It shows users the Earth, and allows users to find out live weather [...]

It’s been a while since Konami updated the Extras section of Metal Gear Solid 4, which I have been peeking at in the hope of a little sweet, free content (I’m still waiting for another Integral Podcast, by the way). Now, Konami have released two codes to unlock the Thor .45-70 large-caliber hand rifle and [...]

Sony Europe yesterday announced the introduction of Vidzone, a free streaming service for music videos exclusive to the PlayStation 3 console. The service is expected to be ready for early 2009, which is set to be another big year for gaming, with the likes of Heavy Rain, Fallout 3 and many more gracing our consoles [...]

Yup, they told me themselves! I signed up to the PlayOn! service for PlayStation and instead of a confirmation e-mail, I was told tgatr the service had received ‘a huge response’ already ‘and have identified a couple of critical issues that we want to resolve before allowing further downloads (including adding support for 64-bit Windows).’. [...]

So, some good news at last for those of us who were heartbroken by the news that us Europeans won’t be getting the Database download. But I still don’t understand why there is a further delay. Apparently Konami and SCEA were lagging behind with European PSN releases, and The Metal Gear Database was caught up [...]

Gamespot are pretty successful and are usually the second to get their hands on the breaking news, so when I saw this opportunity, I thought I just had to tell you all about it. Here’s the thing: Gamespot are offering money in exchange for you completing surveys of upcoming games, concepts, successful games, classic games. [...]

Well? 2008 will be seeing classics like Street Fighter 2 improved and rereleased, and also classics like Bionic Commando and Joint Strike being reborn. So, will this year be the year of classics? And, if it is, will it mean that the current gen consoles (PS3, 360 and Wii) will be remembered as the ressurectors [...]

Surely yes!
On IGN’s profile of the upcoming Final Fantasy XII, the game savvy guys over there announce that Europe and Japan are to get the game in 2008 (TBA) and, surprisingly, the US will get it in 2009 (TBA).
I haven’t paid much attention to the title, although I did love Final Fantasy XII (the last [...]
