So the Holiday season is pretty much over, and the world is heading into 2010. Hopefully the New Year will be a big one for Sony, and a particularly big release for the PSP is Metal Gear Solid – Peace Walker.

The game will take place following the events of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater and Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops. So really a bit of a prequel filling in the gaps between MGS3 and MGS4. Metal Gear Solid 4 was easily one of the best games of 2008 – in my opinion, THE best, so what is in store for us with this installment? Well, we can count on the story being of a high quality like all Kojima projects. Expect a deep, detailed plot. If you haven’t played through all the previously released games, I would recommend doing so (something I also need to  do). I’m personally hoping that the graphics will be setting a new standard for the PSP, as MGS4 did for the PS3 on its release. I still haven’t seen a game as delicate and detailed as Guns of The Patriots since it was released (lets just wait for Heavy Rain…). Gameplay should be pretty much typical Kojima – solid and immersive. Now we’ll end off this little summary previewish thingy with a bit of media for the game. Enjoy!
