This is great news, for North American gamers anyway. Sony are expanding availability of the $20 and $50 Prepaid PSN Cards to Walmarts, Best Buys, selected Sam’s Club outlets and Barnes & Noble College Bookstores. The cards will be available in November, ready for the holiday season.

Obviously, the cards are currently only available in North America, and all us Europeans can do is cross our fingers while watching PlayTV and VidZones (poor us). Well, it would be nice for young gamers like me (who doesn’t have a credit card) to be able to have an occasional cash splash with the aid of a PSN card.

The cards are already available at BlockBusters, Pamidas, Meijer Superstores and Speedway stores all over the USA.
