According to the guys over at Destructoid, there’s going to be a LittleBigPlanet Beta this month (that’s September folks), and they actually pointed us to this thread on the official PlayStation Forum. This post pretty much confirms the validity of these claims, as this guy is actually a SCEA official and wrote this:

“There will be a limited public beta test for LittleBigPlanet in September. If it will be possible to “sign up” for this test, full information on how to do so will be made public in advance of the test. Similarly if the test is going to be conducted in an invitation-only we will let you know ahead of time.”

So that’s another great PS3 Beta to look forward to that we’ve heard today. It’s not yet been decided whether the test will be run on a sign-up basis, or an invitation-only basis, but we can pretty much be sure that it’ll be including European and American gamers (seeing as it was a largely European project).

Keep your ears pricked for any more news of this and let us know if you find anything out.
