I wouldn’t say I’m a fan of wrestling, but the SmackDown vs. Raw franchise is definitely one of the most consistent and series’ in the game. I only recently bought SvR 08 (£13 at Blockbusters BTW), and I’m thoroughly enjoying it. I haven’t covered much news on the upcoming SmackDown vs. Raw game, due for release on 7th November 2008. This installment is set to be the biggest, most adventurous and most accurate Wrestling simulator EVER!

One of my favourite features of the whole franchise is the Create mode, which before the upcoming game, including Create a move set, Create a Player, Create a Championship, Create a Tournament, but never Create a Finisher! This time around, we’ll have the opportunity to develop custom finishing moves, details can be found here. This is definitely one thing I’m immensely excited about.

One of the most obvious upgrades in the upcoming installment to the series is the graphics, which I have to say have been a little disappointing in the past, but now the visuals are definitely PS3 standard. Here are a few screens:

Both videos look impressive, and all I can do is hope for even more when it is released in November this year.
