The first Heavy Rain Demo to be seen is definitely setting the bar high for Sony, who have dated it for release in the 4th quarter of 2009, so we’re expecting major improvements, even in the graphics department. The gameplay in thsi particular demo is largely synchronisation of control pad buttons, to escape from the big, fat mad guy trying to slice you up. As is already known, the graphics engine running the game is incredibly powerful, and renders the closest to reality images on video games, ever! I’m excited about this as the engine will surely (?) be used on other games, to make the PS3 that little bit more special.
I mentioned before the big, fat mad guy. Although I’ve not looked into the game as yet, I’m guessing the main character (the girl in the house) is some sort of detective, and she loos into murders or whatever, and just happens to stumble upon a particularly nasty one. I’ll keep you updated, as I’m pretty sure there’ll be more mention of the game in the coming days of the Leipzig Games Convention.
This year’s Games Convention is set to be heaps bigger than the LA E3, whihc was definitely a disappointment. Lets just wait for what more Sony has to reveal to us.
