OK before you get your moan on about no updates for the past *counts* 8 days, but there’s a good reason for that: I was on holiday!. OK, maybe not such a good excuse, but one I can learn from. Now, lets get back to the real business.

The first real competitor in the Beat-em-up gaming market was released last week, in the form on Namco/Bandai’s weapon based fighting game, Soul Calibur IV, which is this time juiced up with the best ever character customization and creation functions, as well as all new ‘celebrity’ fighters, including Star Wars’ Darth Vader and Yoda. It looks pretty kick as to me, and watching videos/reading reviews/seeing screens etc (you know what I mean) confirms that feeling, and I’m really tempted to pick it up… soon! More news on this game in a bit.
