PlayStation 3: Best at E3 2008

Seriously, does that IGN guy ever stop? While browsing IGN today, I came across this very interesting article.

IGN’s PlayStation 3 Best of E3 2008.

It’s a pretty good little list, and it fills us PlayStation Heads in (those of us who weren’t at the big event) on what’s hot for the coming months for us gamers. Probably the most interesting (for me) addition to the list are Infamous, an action sandbox game from Sucker Punch, who have managed to keep the free-roaming wonder of a sandbox RPG but add a gripping storyline to it as well. One addition that I wasn’t expecting was the Platform game, Prince of Persia, which I was sure would be dominated by Sony’s own ‘industry darling’, LittleBigPlanet. Apparently, Ubisoft completely transformed the game into something that the genre has never seen before.Another one I was sure would dominate is Flower, Sony’s upcoming PSN nature and wind related game, which was overpowered by Insomniac’s Ratchet and Clank: Quest for Booty, although I’m not too disappointed at this one, because R+C games are DA BOMB! (LOOL).

Maybe I’ll post up my own thoughts on the best of E3 for Sony’s console in a future post, even though I didn’t attend the gamer’s event, which was apparently a big disappointment.
