Just like the saying goes. The President of the SCEE, David Reeves has recently said:
“What we’re trying to do with LittleBigPlanet is almost iTunes meets eBay in the sense that once an individual or a developer has qualified by producing certain levels or certain add-ons, they will then be able in the future to exchange these and make money out of them,” Reeves goes far enough to say, “Eventually, it’s feasible that you might well see the first LittleBigPlanet millionaire!”
This is a game I’ve kind of neglected while others have been going pretty crazy over it. This attempt from Sony is one that no game has ever made, and may well change the face of gaming and it’s online community. David Reeves pretty much says it all: LittleBigPlanet will allow users to create a level (the main concept of the game) and eventually they will be able to sell them over the PSN network (?).
It looks like LittleBigPlanet will have one of the most interactive gameplay experiences on the console, and also give the player an experience that ventures far away from the average action/puzzle game. And, need I say more, it’s a PS3 exclusive which will surely push PS3 to the top of the pile.
