You might have seen this video on various other sites, but I thought I’d have a piece of the pie, simply because it’s a great video. The title of this post is a little anonymous, I know but I thought it was quite eye-catching. Anyway, back to the topic of the post. Basically Firmware 2.40 was showcased in the form of this video from the PlayStation Blog, which is the first of two videos aimed to (my deductions) hype people up for the release of the update. *drum roll* which is 2nd July (same date as Hancock!)
So basically, this first video shows the various features available in the in-game XMB, which is basically all of them. The thing that shocked me most was the ability to play your own music while playing a game. I am also pretty chuffed at the addition of clock which will certainly help me to keep track of the time I’m wasting playing games!
