Why not? Heroes has been a great watch for me over the past months (one of the only things I watch, actually), and I think the concept is great. The writing is quality material as well. All it needs to become a bestselling game is great graphics and gameplay. Nothing a decent game developer can’t fix.
Picture it: You go through the first series as it happens. Cutscenes as long as your arm (or longer!). Graphics to rival the likes of MGS4 and CoD4… Better graphics are always possible, aren’t they? The story would be second to none, and with a little back pocket money going into the writers’ jeans/writing shorts, the story could be added to, or maybe even completely redesigned. It would be a great opportunity for the sci-fi gamers out there, who might be in need of a new, Spiderman-esque Superhero game with a twist. The twist maybe being… Different viewpoints!
Gameplay would be second to none, just a mention of the project to some of the major developers would probably see a huge influx of offers from developers who can’t bear to to miss an opportunity. It would also do a lot for the creators of the series, when all the hype dries up in between the end of a season and the start of a new one.
I’m no expert at thinking up concepts, but maybe I’ll make it a feature here on PlayStation Heads =P.
