I was watching Playr TV yesterday (a rareity, as today’s TV is mostly CRAP LOL) and their Far Cry 2 demo preview really caught my eye. Especially the 50km of open Africa ready to explore. The game seems to be quite free-roaming and the gameplay, although easy to pick up, seems depthy.
This is definitely one game I’ll be keeping my eye on for the future and keep you updated. The game really does look barrier breaking. It’s due for release in 2009, but the graphics seen in the demo and the trailer look pretty much perfect.
I’m going to leave you with the first trailer for the title. It’s a typical first trailer, showing snapshots of the game, different weapons, the enemies and a sense of the character/story. Here it is!
