Luke Plunkett at Kotaku wrote today that some British gamers already have Metal Gear Solid 4, way before it’s release next week.
I just want to reply to this post, as I can’t be bothered to comment on the post. I think these copies of MGS 4 are just the pre-release sleeves that were being sold at HMV Oxford Street in London this past week, while Hideo Kojima was in town to sign them. A lot of people were there, mostly Brits. My theory is that people just bought the sleeves, maybe got them signed and then stuck them on the case of a different game like, I dunno… GTA IV?
That would make the most sense, because, as far as I have seen, there are no pictures showing the actual disc.
Hope this is feasable for those people who are a bit outraged and a little jealous about the pics.
