live,
Some of my happiest gaming moments were when playing Psyviar on the PlayStation 2, or when simply playing space invaders on a phone etc.
Joint Strike, considered to be one of the best vertical, birds eye view shooter games is back, and better than ever… Apparently.
I’ve been on a pretty mad search to find a download or maybe even a cheap PS1 or PS2 classic shooter to play on my PlayStation 3. Now, well in the near (?) future, I am (hopefully) going to be able to get a pretty great top down shooter for a reasonable price (maybe free. Hint hint, Sony!).
The game is set during WW2, and you are thrust into the action into battles over the pacific and ground, which is a change from the usual space setting. This time, the game also has 3D visuals with original classic top down gameplay.
The game takes exactly the same format as the games that may have got you hooked on video games in the past. You basically have to get to the end of the level alive and shoot the opposing planes as they approach, eventually reaching a big boss battle, which you probably won’t win the first time, get fed up of the second time and throw your controller across the room the third time: GREAT!
That’s that. If you want to see a few pictures, click here for IGN’s screens.
