Gamer Stabbed in GTA IV Queue

Well, we were all excited for the release of the biggest game in the world at the moment, but the BBC reported yesterday, that a man was stabbed several times by a “hooded man who appeared to be waiting in line”. That is going a bit far isnt it?

The attack happened in the GameStation Croydon Midnight opening queue for Grand Theft Auto IVs release, at about 11PM. The 23 year old was found not far from the shop, and treated at a nearby hospital. He was allowed back home later.

The investigative Police team have looked at CCTV and report that there were “50 to 100 people in the queue”.

Crazy world man, and I’m glad no-one I knew was there. Shows how much things like this can affect us eh? And can you magine how much bad publicity the game is gonna get? Damn.

Anyway, back to the normal stuff tomorrow.
