Now you all know I’m looking forward to Grand Theft Auto IV, and I’m going to tell you right now, I don’t mind a bit of comedy. So when I heard about one of my favourite comedians appearring in one of my most looked forward to games, well… You know how it goes. Let’s just say: I was happy .
Gervais’ ‘bit’ in the game is performing a piece of stand up - what a surprise. His piece comprises of some jokes from his ‘Fame’ tour, which sold out at most venues, and also 3 minutes of exclusive genius.
"It’s a first - which always interests me. It’s seriously a big deal, though. Games have outsold Hollywood for the past few years so it’s nice to be a small part of that."
Ricky Gervais is no stranger to guest appearences though. I’m sure a lot of you have seen him in The Simpsons episode, which he also wrote - and got a lot of heavy criticism for. You remember, the one where Homer enters a competition to win a Plasma TV, but ends up winning a trip to Fox Studios, joins a Wife Swap like reality program and trades wives with Ricky.
But, for those of you who don’t know much about this British comedian, lets just say he isn’t not one for dirty jokes. Get it?
