Games we all want

Another list (of sorts), but this one is going to be a little bit longer and probably a LOT more useful. So here are the PS3 titles we all want, but can’t get our fingers on yet.

Grand Theft Auto IV:

I bet you’re surprised at this one! But seriously, this game is, without doubt, the most talked about game in the WORLD! I don’t really know much about this game. YET. But as I’ve said, I am going to try to pick it up when it comes out. The release date is 29th April (just over a month away), and I’m guessing that the shops are all going to be PACKED with gamers. The RRP is £40 in the UK, and (last time I checked) about $60 across the pond.
Haze:

This is another game I can’t wait for, so far, I haven’t heard much ‘hype’ about it, except for the occasional boast that it’s another wonderful PS3 exclusive. For those of you who don’t know about this PS3 game, it’s a futuristic 1st person shooter, where you play as a ‘Mantel trooper’, fighting off ‘Promised Hand Rebels’. SPOILER WARNING. However, in the third level you’re set against Mantel troopers, playing as those rebels you so enjoyed hurting in the previous two levels. Wierd, unconventional and pretty COOL
Gran Turismo 5 Prologue:

I know in my previous post, I was a bit cynical about this game, but it’s definitely high on my list of future purchases. I don’t call it a ‘cheap game’, I call it ‘great value’. A good brand delivered in full HD, with a load of extra features. What’s not to like? £25 is a bargain, but £18 is a steal (UK prices).
Viking: Battle for Asgard:

Yes, the title’s ~~a bit~~ totally cheesy, but the trailers and screens for this game probably the most engaging I have seen since Assassin’s Creed. The graphics rival those of Assassin’s Creed (that’s a statement), and they fully take advantage of the Hi Def capabilities of the Playstation 3. I don’t know a lot about this game, and I haven’t had any leads since I first heard of this title. This one will be updated when I find out more about it. The Release date for the UK is only 2 days (March 28th).
Condemned 2:

I’m a Play.com fan, so I noticed this game on that site. It looks pretty good, and is due in 9 days (April 4th). The player reviews are all the same, i.e. ‘So scary’, ‘Gave me nightmares’ etc. I like it. Scary games are my sort of thing, and this seems to be the only one worth a second glance since Doom III.
